ISSA - Minnesota Chapter Meeting Minutes

Meeting was opened by President, Kelley Archer

* Welcome

* Announced an available security position

* Announced that members would be getting an e-mail regarding the list of possible topics for future meetings. Members are asked to choose the top 5 topics they would be interested in. Topics can be added

* Announced that the Board is creating a marketing plan that will be aggressive. It will include radio, TV, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, etc. The purpose of the plan is to get the name and purpose of the MN ISSA Chapter known in the community.

* Bylaws will be updated.

* Introduced new Membership Director - John Ford from Midwave

Membership Director, John Ford made the following announcements:

* Names of new members

* Chapter has 293 active members

* CISSP study group has 4 sessions left

* ISC2 CISSP class will be held 3/8 – 3/12/04 - 8 people signed up

* CISSP exam will be held 4/17/04

* Strictly Business – thanked corporate sponsors for participating

* Announced names of all corporate sponsors – 16 total

* Announced that one corporate sponsor at each meeting would be give about 5 minutes to talk about their organization.
